Ashmole Academy Trust was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance.  The Trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school.

Ashmole Primary School is a brand new school, which opened in September 2016 for our first Reception cohort. The school is a two form entry school with classes from Reception up to Year 6; when pupils will carry on into secondary education at Ashmole Academy.

The Trust has a motto that ‘excellence is a habit’ and seeks to achieve this in all that it does.  The Trust sets the highest ambitions for its work creating a learning environment in its school which is second to none. 

The Trust wants to provide the highest school attainment for all its pupils and students, whatever their age.  Happiness, safety and a strong sense of community prevail.

Deputy Head

Ashmole Primary School is a brand new school, which opened in September 2016 for our first Reception cohort. The school is a two form entry school with classes from Reception up to Year 6; when pupils will carry on into secondary education at Ashmole Academy.

As part of our ongoing expansion, the Trust are looking to appoint a highly motivated Primary Deputy Head.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, committed and dynamic professional to work closely with all our staff to build on the recent successes of the school. We would like the candidate to have high expectations of pupil achievement and progress, and to support the needs of all learners.

We are looking for someone who is an outstanding class teacher who is able to support our ‘Outstanding’ school status and has an excellent grasp of understanding data.

A team player with a positive attitude, flexibility and drive is essential. Being an effective communicator with excellent organisation and management skills is needed. We are looking for someone to motivate and inspire all our staff.  In our recent Ofsted, we achieved ‘Outstanding’ in all areas.

An excellent Literacy and Maths knowledge would be beneficial. The candidate should also be keen on developing their own professional development further. The post involves a teaching commitment for 3 days a week.

As part of our ongoing expansion we are looking to appoint an ‘Outstanding’ Early Years, KS1 or KS2 Classroom Teacher from September 2020.  The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, creative and dynamic, who has high expectations of pupil achievement and progress.   This is an exciting opportunity to join a new and developing primary school.  We welcome applications from NQTs or experienced teachers.
