Breakfast and After School Club Manager

 18 hour, 45 minutes per week

39 working weeks

Actual Salary £11,044pa

We run a very successful  and popular breakfast and after school club and are looking to appoint a manager to ensure the smooth running of the clubs.   Duties will include liaising with parents/ carers, helping to update registers, organising club timetables/ rotas and plan daily structured games and activities (inside and outside) for the children in Reception to Year 6. The manager will supervise a team of several breakfast/ after school club assistants and sports coaches.

Previous experience in this or a similar role is essential.

The hours of work are 7:45am – 9am and 3:15pm – 5:45pm – 18 hours 45 minutes in total per week.   This is a term time post.

Part time School Caretaker

We are an ‘Outstanding’ new primary school which opened in September 2016 for our first Reception cohort. The school is a two form entry school with classes from Reception up to Year 6; when pupils will carry on into secondary education at Ashmole Academy

We are looking to appoint a part time caretaker to work alongside the full time caretaker within in our primary school.  Responsibilities will include closing of the site, security of the site and buildings, general maintenance and cleaning of the school, the outside area and health and safety.

The part time post is 15 hours per week, 52 weeks a year, 30 days holiday

3pm to 6pm, 5 days a week.

The successful applicant will have a range of skills, which could include decorating, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance and must have the ability to provide a high quality of service to staff, pupils, parents and our lettings.

Welfare Officer/Clerical Assistant

Required from September 2021 a Welfare Officer/Clerical Assistant  to act as the school’s principal first aider to administer to the needs of sick or injured pupils and staff and to manage health care plans, some of which can be quite complex. The successful applicant will have experience in a similar role or in a medical environment.   The role will also involve general school clerical duties at other times, including  filing, typing pupil reports, letters, school brochures and newsletters.  Inputting data on to our school systems, (training will be given). Early Years and KS1 Classroom Teachers

Caretaker

Term Time (39 working weeks)

Pay Point 18-21 Actual salary £14,789 - £16,326pa

30 hours per week (split shift 7am-10am and then 3pm -6pm)

 

Required as soon as possible, a Caretaker to work in our newly opened primary school.  Responsibilities will include opening and closing of the site, security of the site and buildings, general maintenance and cleaning of the school, the outside area and health and safety.

The successful applicant will have a range of skills which could include decorating, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance and must have the ability to provide a high quality of service to staff, pupils and parents.   

The successful candidate will work on a split shift from 7am to 10am and then 3pmto 6pm Monday to Friday.

Teaching Assistant

Actual Salary - £10,178 per annum
20 Hours per week (9am-1pm) – Term Time

Temporary post until 31st August 2018 with the possibility of extension.

 

Required as soon as possible, Teaching Assistant with a SEN qualification preferably in Autism and experience needed to join our professional and dedicated Primary team. You must be caring, calm and positive with a commitment to inclusion.

Duties will include delivering intervention programmes, supporting SEN pupils in class and at other times. The majority of time will be supporting one SEN pupil.  Also there will be a need to contribute to termly reviews and contribute to planning meetings within the department.

The successful candidate will have a qualification or interest in the area of Special Educational Needs, will have a passion to inspire and maintain high quality of teaching and learning and have a flexible approach to their job role.

Ashmole Academy Multi Academy Trust was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance.  The trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school and has future expansion plans. We currently have a vacancy for a part time Clerk to the Board of Trustees.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate to provide professional clerking services to our board of trustees.  The role will include providing advice to the trustees on governance, constitutional and procedural matters and provide effective administrative support.  

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills. Be able to work independently whilst at the same time forming effective relationships with trustees, governors and school teams.    This post will work on a flexible basis so the successful candidate must be able to organise their own time and work to strict deadlines.   A knowledge of multi academy trust and governing body procedures and previous experience in a similar role is essential.

The job role will be on a flexible basis working 14 hours per week, 2 days per week and term time only (39 working weeks).   The Clerk to Trustees will be required to attend any the evening Trustee or Governing Committee meetings (currently 12 per year).
